What to Expect
At Advanced Relief Chiropractic & Acupuncture, we are dedicated to treating your pain and helping you meet your wellness goals naturally. To achieve this, we will set up a treatment plan and schedule with you. We'll help you fill out our initial paperwork, which includes a standard health history form, along with our Chiropractic Wellness questions. Our friendly receptionist is happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have during this process: the more information we have about your previous and present health conditions, the more efficient the prognosis and treatment. Through this information, we create tailored solutions that will put you on the path to recovery.
Consultation & Examination
Next, you’ll meet with Dr. Robynn Poortvliet regarding your current condition and your future wellness goals. The doctor will review your health history and determine if your problem is likely to be helped with chiropractic care. Dr. Robynn will perform a thorough examination, including checking your reflexes, testing your range of motion as well as other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural and physical examinations. If necessary, X-rays may be taken of your spine.
Assessment Report
Once the examination is complete, the doctor will study your results and explain what they mean. The doctor will then discuss the recommended steps to take in an effort to reach your health goals - this report will clarify your treatment suggestions and costs. We encourage you to voice any questions or concerns you may have with your suggested treatment schedule so that we can ensure you have a pleasant chiropractic experience.
Treatment
After Dr. Robynn has discussed your treatment plans, she will often then give you your first treatment. This treatment may include spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy and/or physical therapy, depending upon your wellness needs.
